DETROIT, Mich. (WTVR) - Michigan Police are reopening the case of the legendary disappearance of labor union leader Jimmy Hoffa.
A tip from a dying man could be the missing clue in the mystery of what happened to the Teamsters leader, who vanished 37 years ago.
Investigators are searching the ground beneath a suburban Detroit driveway after a man told authorities he saw a body being put into the ground around the same time Hoffa disappeared. The man is said to be dying of cancer and was not identified by police.
Officials say a radar test confirm something is buried beneath a cement slab at the residence.
Police plan to dig at the home on Friday.
