Trader Joe’s recalls Valencia Creamy Salted Peanut Butter

(WTVR) – Federal health officials warn consumers to avoid eating Trader Joe’s Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter due to salmonella infections.

The infections have affected 29 people in 18 states.  The manager of the Trader Joe’s in Short Pump confirmed that stores in Virginia carried the peanut butter.

Trader Joe’s says if you have a jar of peanut butter, they recommend you returning it to the store for a full refund or throwing it out.
