(WTVR) - A famous Virginia teen is reminding her peers about the dangers of texting and driving.
Olympian, Gabrielle Douglas of Virginia Beach was at an AT&T store in her hometown to get the message out.
"I turn the phone off, because were all trying to pass the message down saying no texting while driving", Douglas said, "if we can save lives then I'm totally on board. And the first thing that popped into my head was don't even think about it. It's not even an option. It can wait."
Douglas also met with fans and signed autographs while promoting her message.
