INDIANA (WTVR) - Rare pictures have been found in color from an era where the process was considered too expensive to do frequently.

The photographer, Charles Cushman, started experimenting with color film and didn't stop, snapping thousands of photo's from the 30's to the 50's.

The photos were found at Indiana University stashed away in an old office, they were initially headed to the trash.
