Work continues at Thomas Jefferson; football field reseeded

Posted

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The overhaul of the Thomas Jefferson football program took another step forward Friday when the folks from James River Grounds Management and the river city rotary helped reseed their field to get it ready in time for homecoming next month.

The Vikings have only two home games this year, which is a perfect time to get their field in better shape.

This follows the refurbishment of the locker rooms and the new uniforms brought in by head coach Chad Hornik and the TJ alumni club.
