FINAL SCORE FRIDAY: Varina defeats Thomas Dale

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Varina beat Thomas Dale  37 – 8 on Friday night in Chester.

The Blue Devils held the Knights to just 154 yards of total offense, and got off to a fast start in the first quarter with touchdowns from Donovan Dowling and P.T. Dixon.

Dowling had two touchdown receptions from quarterback Brandon Wood as the Blue Devils improved to 2-0 and set up a showdown with top ranked Hermitage next Friday
