HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Meadowbrook came back in the fourth quarter to defeat Mills Godwin Friday night in Henrico's West End 28-22.

Mills Godwin took a late fourth quarter lead on a 22 yard field goal. With less than a minute to go, Monarchs QB Gerard Johnson found Terrell Whitaker for a 35 yard scoring pass that gave Meadowbrook  six point lead with 37 seconds to play.

A late desperation pass by Godwin was broken up by Earl Hughes and the Monarchs improve to 2-1 while the Eagles fall to 1-1.
