UKRAINE--A 7-year-old boy named Andriy Kostash holds a push-up record in Ukraine after doing 4,000 in a row.

Judges from the Ukrainian Book of Records watched closely to make sure Kostash was observing all rules, and was in prone lying position.

He set the new record doing 4,000 push-ups in 2 hours and 29 minutes.

''I just like receiving prizes. Different ones',”said Kostash on why he decided to attempt the feat.

He started training at 5 years old, and within a year he was able to do 3,000 consecutive push-ups.

He says that his personal best is over 6,000 push-ups and he looks forward to beating his own record.
