‘Sleepy’ burglar tries to rob North Carolina restaurant

Gates County, NC – Police in Virginia and North Carolina are on the hunt for a burglar with a sleeping problem.

On surveillance video for the Tarheel Barbecue, in Gates County, North Carolina, you can see the man approach the restaurant over the weekend with the intent to break-in.

He tries using a shovel, even a butcher knife to get the door open, but has no luck.

All that effort seemed to tire the suspect out. Video shows his sit down and fall asleep for 3 hours. He then wakes up and walks away.

Police say the suspect got away with nothing. They are still trying to identify him.
