HP plans to lay off 2,000 employees

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Computer giant Hewlett Packard has announced today they are laying off an extra 2,000 workers. This comes after an announcement earlier this year that the company will undergo a restructuring. They are now planning to focus on software production along with cutting 27,000 jobs. HP has struggled competing with companies like Apple.
