Lightning strikes a Dinwiddie residence

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Dinwiddie Fire and EMS responded to a call around 6 p.m. on Sunday where lightning struck inside a home.

It happened on Boydton Plank Road.

Lightning hit the house through a stove.  A woman, who was sitting nearby, felt an electrical shock.  She refused to be taken to the hospital after EMS checked her.
