VIDEO: California man attempts jetpack record

NEWPORT BEACH, California (KCBS) – The pilot of a new water jetpack has been at play most of the summer in Newport Harbor, California. 

But now pilot Dean O’Malley is trying to set a new record. In fact, he says his  upcoming world record jetpack flight will be the equivalent of riding a horse from Orange County to Phoenix.
