Prostitution concerns prompt Henrico, RPD joint sweep
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico and Richmond Police have teamed up to clean up the East Highland Park Neighborhood.
According to Captain Clarence Hunter, the area was chosen over concerns of prostitution which often leads to other illegal activity.
During a five day period, both jurisdictions arrested five prostitutes and ten males accused of soliciting prostitutes, 24 for drug possesion and distribuion.
Officers also seized four firearms and $50,000 worth of drugs.
