Man accused of pointing gun at police, beating wife arraigned
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The man shot by Chesterfield police, after they said he beat his wife with a baseball bat and pointed a gun at officers was arraigned Monday.
Russell Hornkohl was arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of brandishing a firearm. A trial date was scheduled for October.
Hornkhol still faces malicious wounding charges for the alleged assault against his wife.
He is being held without bond.
