On Your Menu: Monkey Bread
1 can (7.5oz) biscuits
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts or raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray one 8 or 9-inch cake pan with a nonstick cooking spray.
Using a one gallon plastic bag, place sugar and cinnamon in bag and shake to mix. Separate biscuits and use a knife or kitchen shears to cut each into quarters. Place in bag and shake to cover with the sugar mixture.
Add topping of choice; 1/2 cup nuts or 1/2 cup raisins to bottom of pan and spread evenly. Place the biscuits pieces into the pan. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Melt butter and dissolve brown sugar in it. Spoon over biscuits.
Bake for 20 minutes.
