ABINGDON, Va. (WJHL) - Dive teams continue to search Saturday morning for the pilot of a downed helicopter.

Virginia State Police said the chopper, which is owned by Food City, crashed into South Holston Lake late Friday night.

Police said the pilot was the only person onboard when the helicopter went down just north of the Tennessee border.
