RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - It's most likely a combination of factors that can go back to a person's childhood, according to Dr. Micah Mcreary, a psychologist and associate professor at VCU.

Additionally, Antisocial Personality Disorder can also be common among people who commit these kinds of crimes.

Mcreary also says that this is also probably a case of "suicide by cop," where a person intentionally threatens police with a weapon, knowing they'll shoot the person in order to protect themselves.
