Richmond police ID North Side shooting victim

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond police have released the name of a man shot Thursday night in the city’s North Side.

Detectives said Friday that 20-year-old Quinton E. Conyers, of the 3000 block of Noble Avenue, was found shot dead in an alley.

Police received a call about a person shot around 10 p.m. in the alley behind the 3000 block of Moss Side Avenue. 

Detectives do not think the shooting was random and believe robbery may have been the motive.
