STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) –  Sheriff’s deputies and Virginia State Police are investigating after a truck driver found human skeletal remains alongside Interstate 95 in Stafford County. The driver found the remains Thursday morning in the woods near the northbound Exit 140 ramp.

The truck driver found the remains while walking in the woods after he parked his tractor trailer on the ramp, Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Bill Kennedy wrote in an email to CBS 6.
