RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The 7th annual Filipino Festival at Our Lady of Lourdes Church took place on Saturday.

The event showcased the Filipino culture and heritage.  There was traditional Filipino food, folk dances and live music.

Filipino children took bi-weekly classes over the past nine months to be immersed in the culture of their parents.

More than 600 volunteers were on hand to help the festival run smoothly.
