Virginia high school students to pass online course before graduation

(WTVR) — Starting next Fall, rising 9th graders will have to pass an online course before they graduate high school. The law was passed earlier this year by the General Assembly.

Opponents of the law fear it will penalize students without access to computers. While supporters believe it will prepare students for more digital learning in the future.
