Child hit by car overnight

(WTVR) Shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday morning Richmond police sources tell us a child was hit by a car at the 4100 block of North Avenue in Richmond.

Police say this was not a hit and run and the driver stayed on scene.

The child suffered non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, no charges are being filed.
