HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – In 1984, Mary Lou Retton captured the hearts of Americans when she captured the gold medal in the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Six years later, Retton appeared at Tucker High School in Henrico County after a student won a contest to meet their favorite champion.
Retton spoke to students about reaching their goals.
