Crane operator rescued high above Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond firefighters rescued a man from the top of a crane near N. 5th and Jackson Streets in downtown Richmond.

Richmond Fire Lt. Robbie Hagaman said crews were called Tuesday morning when the crane operator said he was suffering from chest pains.

The crane operator was able to walk down the crane with the help of fire crews. The crane operator's condition has not yet been released.
