Deputies search for Goochland stabbing, shooting suspects

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Goochland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two people involved in a stabbing and shooting incident that happened Saturday morning.

It happened at a residence on Hadensville-Fife Road in western Goochland County.

A caller contacted county dispatchers at 1:45 a.m. saying his friend, Bruce Englehart, was allegedly stabbed in the back by Rickey Darnell Ramey after an argument.

The caller also told officials that a female, identified as Charlotte H. Hodges, allegedly fired a handgun during the argument.

According to the caller, the two took off in a green 1995 Ford Explorer with license plate XNY-7765.

Englehart was taken to VCU Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown.

Deputies describe Ramey as a white male, 5-feet 5 inches tall and weighing 158 pounds. Hodges is described as a white female, 5-foot 8-inches tall and weighing 340 pounds.

Call the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office at 556-5349 if you have information that could help authorities. Officials say both are considered armed and dangerous.
