‘Spanx on Steroids,’ the Speedo Olympic swimsuits redesign
Four years ago in Beijing the LZR suit was all the rage with swimmers. In fact, 98% of all swim medals went to people wearing LZR suits.
U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps set seven world records in the LZR suit. The LZR, a full body suit, was then banned.
So, Speedo went to the lab to design the next big thing, and what could be called “Spanx on steroids.”
Their new suit compresses body three times more than old LZR suits.
