Suspected vandal spotted fleeing from Swift Creek Middle

CHESTERFIELD, Va (WTVR) -Chesterfield Police are searching for a suspect they believe vandalized Swift Creek Middle School early this morning.

Investigators say they responded to an alarm at the school around 5:30 this morning,  arriving to find a suspect running from the building.

Inside officials discovered at least one of the glass doors to the entrance of the building was broken, and found damage done to some property inside the school.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 15-17 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing tan shorts and what appeared to be a black T-shirt wrapped around his head. Anyone with information about this incident is asked  call crime solvers at 748-0660 or Chesterfield Police at 748-1251.
