Three shot at Richmond party

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Three people were shot at a party early Sunday morning in Richmond, police told CBS 6.

Police said the suspect got into a verbal altercation at the party when he attempted to steal a stereo. The man left, then returned with a gun and began shooting.

Three people were taken to VCU Medical Center with injuries. Their conditions have not been released.

Richmond police said the shooting happened around 1:28 a.m. at a party along the 500 block of Henry Street.

Police described the suspect as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, red shorts, and dark baseball cap.
