HOT SPRINGS, Va.— Republican George Allen and Democrat Tim Kaine met Saturday morning at The Homestead for the second debate of their U.S. Senate campaign.

The two former Governors clashed over their performance in Richmond and Washington, and their prescription for the nation's economy.

The candidates managed a quick handshake and a smile, before the gloves came off.
