RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Shuffleboard and bingo are certainly not on one older woman`s daily to-do list, but pumping iron and push ups are.

Ernastine Shepherd takes bodybuilding seriously. So much so, her dedication has landed her in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Her feat is being the oldest female competitive body builder.

She says her passion for the gym started when she was 56 years old, when she wanted to change the way she felt on the inside and out.

Her advice to anyone, young and old, who have second thoughts about getting in shape is there is no such word as can`t.

Ernastine doesn`t just stay fit in the gym, she runs 80 miles a week.
