DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - A Dinwiddie woman is now a million dollars richer after hitting it big playing the Virginia Lottery.

Silvia Rolfe won a million dollars playing the Virginia Lottery's Million Dollar Bonanza game. She bought the winning ticket at Nelson's Feed in Ford, Virginia back on Friday, July 13.

"I’ve never won anything, so I may as well play on Friday the 13th,” said Rolfe.

Rolfe had the option of taking the full $1 million over 25 years or a one-time cash option of $653,000 before taxes. She chose the cash option.

The store that sold Rolfe the winning ticket will also receive a $10,000 bonus.
