ON YOUR MENU: Yellow Squash Casserole

On Your Menu
  • 3 cups yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1  egg
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can French fried onions
  1. Place sliced squash in a pot and cover with water. 
  2. Cook until tender. 
  3. Drain. 
  4. Place squash in mixing bowl and add sugar, egg, butter, salt, pepper and 1/2 the can of onions. 
  5. Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish. 
  6. Top with remaining onions.
  7. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
