RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Storms rolled into Central Virginia on Sunday afternoon. Send your storm pictures to pics@wtvr.com or click the submit button at the bottom of this page.

Meteorologist Mike Stone said many of the shots include pictures of shelf clouds or scud clouds, which hang down from the thunderstorm and can give the appearance of a funnel. The strong to severe storms today have been producing straight-line wind damage. The storms approaching I-95 & Richmond are weakening and  warnings have been dropped.
