HENRICO COUNTY, Va (WTVR) - Police identified the person shot and killed in Henrico. Police said Iyinde M. Dove, 35, of Hawthorne Ave., was found on Parlow Drive Thursday night.

Police said officers arrested a man at the scene on forgery charges. No charges have been filed in the connection to the shooting, Henrico Police Lieutenant Linda Toney wrote in an email to CBS 6. Police are not actively looking for a suspect in this shooting, she added.

What started off as a sleepover for two 15-year-old girls Thursday evening, turned into a sleepless night following the shooting.

"I heard two gunshots and a police car and a fire truck and people screaming," said Samantha Flippin.

Flippin and her friend Nikila Victorian were shocked to hear what they said were two gunshots ringing out in an eastern Henrico neighborhood.

"It really opens your eyes to, wow this was almost right in my backyard and it was so close that maybe the bullet could have interfered if it was going towards the other way what could have happened," said Flippin.

"It's kind of scary because this is a quiet neighborhood nothing happens and for that to come out of nowhere it's kind of scary to think what people do nowadays," said Victorian.

The Henrico homicide left Flippin and Victorian nervous in their own neighborhood.

"It really makes me feel like I really don't want to walk around here anymore," said Flippin.
