How to get free ticket for Pres. Obama’s Henrico visit

Want a ticket to see President Obama on Saturday, July 14?

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entrance.

A source said that Obama will be at the Walkerton Tavern, located at 2892 Mountain Road. The tavern is part of the Henrico County Parks and Recreation system.

According to the county website, it has served as “a tavern, store, post office, voting precinct, and possibly a field hospital for wounded Union Cavalrymen in 1864.”

One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first serve basis, said Marianne von Nordeck, the Virginia Press Secretary, Obama for America.

To pick up your ticket, visit one of the following locations beginning, tomorrow, Wednesday, July 11 at 5 p.m.
