RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Word should come Monday if the ousted head of the Virginia Holocaust Museum will get his job back.
In a special meeting, the museum's board of trustees will meet to decide whether Jay Ipson should be reinstated.
The 77-year-old helped create the museum 15 years ago. He also served as executive director.
However, one trustee tells CBS 6 that some members of the board forced Ipson out because of a letter he wrote criticizing insurance companies for not treating holocaust survivors seeking restitution fairly.
During Monday's special board meeting, members will vote on a motion to officially proclaim Ipson an emeritus president -- and ensure he has a permanent office and desk at the museum.
