HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Police are investigating a homicide in eastern Henrico County Wednesday evening.
Police responded to the 100 block of North Laburnum Avenue at the Seven Gables Apartments around 7 p.m. after receiving calls of gunshots in the area.
Officers found a black male dead behind one of the apartment buildings, according to Henrico Police Lt. A. D. Merz.
Mertz also said the department is in the early stages a homicide investigation.
