COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WTVR) – Colonial Heights Deputy Chief David Salot said power crews are working to restore power after it appeared a truck clipped a power line on Conduit Road.

At last check, more than 800 Dominion Virginia Power customers were without power.

Salot suggested those without power go to a public place – like a library – to cool off while electricity is being restored. [Click here for today's weather update]
