Shark bites ‘good chunk’ of child’s thigh

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WTVR) – A six-year-old boy is recovering in “good condition” after a shark bit his leg, according to a report on WPTV.com. It was unclear the type of shark that bit the child.

The child suffered the bite Tuesday night near the Juno Beach Pier near West Palm Beach, Florida.

 

St. Mary’s Medical Center spokesperson Ryan Lieber told WPTV.com the shark bit a “good chuck” of the child’s thigh.
