RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)- The competitors in this week's National Veterans Wheelchair Games took a timeout Wednesday night for a block party.

CBS 6's own Antoinette Essa emceed the event, hosted at the Science Museum of Virginia. The athletes and their families joined dozens of volunteers for a night of music, food, and friendship.

The games continue the rest of the week right here in Richmond.
