RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The Richmond Flying Squirrels were nearing the end of their game Monday afternoon when a powerful storm, that triggered a tornado warning, approached from the west.

This video, shot by Squirrels Community Relations Intern Jason Grohoske, posted to YouTube shows the moments before the full force of the storm hit the Diamond.

You can see players, coaches and fans head for cover as the grounds crew works to get the tarp on the field.
