Richmond Vegetarian Festival is Saturday
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond goes vegan for one day and The Azalea Gardens in Bryan Park is once again the site for the 10th annual Richmond Vegetarian Festival, Saturday, June 23 from 12-6pm.
There will be live music, belly dancers, health and humane cooking demo, speakers on living a healthy vegan lifestyle, an Iron Chef competition, vendors and over thirty restaurants.
The festival is free, food samples cost a few bucks. Donations of can vegetables are suggested for Lamb’s Basket, an emergency food panty in Henrico County, www.lambsbasket.org.
