ENTER TO WIN: Trip to see ‘Steve Harvey’ show in Chicago

Chesapeake Ray served up in restaurants

(WTVR) –  The next time you go out for some fine dining, ray might be on the menu.

  Chesapeake Ray, that is.

They are over populated and in an effort to reduce their numbers they are being promoted as a delicacy.

The ray has no natural predators in the Bay which allows it to reproduce quickly and take over the habitat.

The Washington Post reports restaurants in Virginia are already serving up dishes featuring the seafood.
