(WTVR) - More than one-thousand customers in the Richmond and Tri-Cities area lost power overnight.

This morning, Dominion power has fully restored all of the customer outages reported.

If you're waking up wondering why your power went out, the Colonial Heights Emergency Management reports Dominion deemed the cause to be a substation failure on Harrowgate Road in Chester.

If your power is still out, you should call Dominion Power to report the outage.
