Texas teen walks all the way to DC to deliver religious message

SAGINAW, Texas (WTVR) – A Texas teen is taking on a religious journey hoping to inspire others.

Junior Garcia, 19, is carrying a 12-foot cross 1,369 miles from Saginaw, Texas all the way to Washington, D.C.

Garcia says, “This is my way of showing them Jesus Christ wants a personal relationship with every single one of them.”

His parents and members of his church are taking the journey with him.  They hope to reach D.C. by July 13th.
