RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - As strong storms rolled through Central Virginia Friday afternoon, CBS 6 News crews were out capturing video of the damage the storm left behind.

Our crews found a fallen tree blocking the 4300 block of Chamberlayne Avenue in North Richmond.

Additionally, an uprooted tree fell crashed into a home on Stanhope and Newport Drive.

Our cameras also captured a torrential downpour near the CBS 6 studios around 3:30 p.m.
