RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A judge just found a Richmond hotel valet guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the October 2011 death of 23-year-old Josephine Stone.
Police said on October 28, 2011, Stone was walking from Penny Lane Pub to the National Theater for a concert in downtown Richmond when she was hit near the intersection of 5th and Broad Street.
Paul Gray Jr., 26, was driving the car that hit Stone. The hotel valet was pulling a car into the Hilton Garden Inn garage at the time. Prosecutors said Gray was driving recklessly at the time.
