Richmond school bus strikes pedestrian

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Officials said a Richmond school bus hit a pedestrian Thursday afternoon.

It happened at the intersection of Nine Mile and Creighton roads around 5:15 p.m. 

Richmond Public Schools' Felicia Cosby said that no one was injured.

In fact, the pedestrian was ticketed for walking in front of the school bus.

Four students were on the bus, which was transporting activities students from Martin Luther King Middle School, when the bus hit the person.
