BlackFinn American Saloon closes along the Canal

RICHMOND, Va. ( – A restaurant on the Canal Walk closed Thursday morning after six years in business.

BlackFinn American Saloon announced this morning in a press release it was shutting down and the business is being sold to local owners.

“The restaurant will remain closed until a sale is completed and the new ownership group has finalized its rebranding of the current space,” the release stated.

The press release did not name the new owners, but said the new restaurant should be open by the fall.
