1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese, @ room temp.
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup coconut
1 (18oz.) pkg. chocolate chip refrigerated cookie dough
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, and egg until well blended. Stir in coconut.
Spray an 8 or 9-inch square pan with a nonstick cooking spray. Remove half of cookie dough, press evenly in bottom of pan.
Spread cream cheese mixture over dough. Crumble and sprinkle remaining half of cookie dough over cream cheese mixture.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Cool and refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled.
Cut into 16 bars. Serves 16.
